LISA USHEROVICH
Founder and Director of MiMi Kids Yoga
Lisa found Yoga on her journey to having a healthier mind and body. After her first child, she was looking for a way to get fit, relax and to clear her head all at the same time. One day she stepped into a yoga class and never left. She decided she wanted to teach others the benefits of yoga.
During her adult teacher training, she was introduced to children’s yoga and could not ignore her passion for teaching children’s yoga. She then began teaching children’s yoga and her passion turned into her business. MIMI KIDS was created as a way to being spread yoga helping them build healthy minds and bodies.
She began the children’s Yoga program and Sky Club Fitness and Spa. In addition she teaches at A Whole New World Academy, Hoboken Children’s Academy and Karma Kids Yoga in NYC. She had completed trainings in kids yoga, Pre-natal Yoga, and Yoga En Espanol with Jen Fink-Oppenheimer.
Kids really love Lisa because of her silliness. She is also, kind and trusting and can relate to kids really well because at heart...she still is one! Her larger than life personality always flows over into her teaching and give kids the chance to be silly too.
Lisa completed her adult teacher training at Devotion Yoga the premiere yoga studio in Hoboken, NJ. She has been fortunate enough to study with Jillian Pransky, Carrie Parker-Gastelu, and Liza Bertini in addition many other wonderful teachers. She is trained in Vinyasa Yoga and teaches at various location throughout New York and New Jersey.
Lisa has two beautiful daughters Daniella and Jaiden. She would like to them and her husband Greg for always filling her with love and inspiration.

Her
favorite pose is Bird of Paradise because it tests her balance,
flexibility and strength all at once.
Lisa's favorite pose is Hand Stand because she loves to be upside down and see the world like a kid! Also, she loves the perfect balance of grounding and lightness you need to get into this gorgeous pose.
