Kids Classes

At MiMi Kids Yoga we have created classes that grow with your child. Our unique and fun classes approach yoga in a way that caters to their developing minds and bodies; no matter what age!

Come join the yoga fun!


Parent and Yogini Classes ( new walkers - 2 years; Strong Walkers - 3 years)
Bring your teeny Yogini to this fun filled animated class. Create closeness and fond memories with your toddler as you move through basic poses that are learned through music, stories and games to help bring awareness to the body, improve coordination and develop fine motor skills. (prior knowledge of yoga is not needed)


BIG KID YOGA (2 - 3 1/2 years; 1 or 2 hour drop-off)

In this 15 week series kids are given a chance to learn yoga on their own. No mommies allowed! Take a trip to the zoo, a hike jungle or feed the animals the farm; the possibilities are endless as we foster your child’s creativity through yoga.  This 2 hour class will include yoga, a healthy snack and story time, arts and crafts and end with breathing exercises and yummy smelling foot rubs to relax an center your child. Class is limited to 8 - 10 kid and is taught by two certified children’s yoga instructors and one assistant to ensure each child is given personalized attention.

3 - 4 Year old
These classes ignite your child’s imagination. Children learn yoga poses and breathing exercises  in a creative way using songs, stories, puppets, games and bubbles. Your child will laugh, stretch, learn social interaction, and refined motor skills with this fun filled class.

4-6 Year old
At this age kids have a fantastic sense of wonder and very vivid imaginations.   Discovering yoga through play, this class will help children release energy while building strength and flexibility. They will also learn breathing and relaxation techniques to improve focus and  learn skills like team work and patience through group games and partner poses.

7-9 Year Old
Build flexibility, strength and body awareness. The use of breathing exercises helps kids  to become centered and focused. Kids learn to work together and respect one another with the use of group/partner poses and games.


10 - 12 Years Old
Yoga is greatly beneficial to kids of this age. At a time where children have less opportunity to be active because of school and other commitments Yoga can help them maintain flexibility and strength. They build self confidence, body awareness and a greater sense of self through the practice of more challenging poses. Through the use of breathing and visualization techniques kids learn to improve concentration and focus that they can bring into their everyday lives.


Teens (13 and Up)

With a focus on fostering self expression and freedom, this class allows teens to take a step back from daily life. Yoga poses that build strength, self confidence and self respect are essential at this age as teens begin the path to self discovery. Teens learn focus and breathing techniques  they can carry with them off the mat helping them to relax and let go stress and anxiety.

Playtime Yoga (ages 18 months - 5 Years)

Hudson County Community Class
Discover the yoga fun at an affordable price! This class focuses on group yoga games and poses.

Family Yoga
YOGA FUN FOR EVERYONE! An emphasis on partner poses, music and games makes this class a great opportunity for parents and kids to take some time to reconnect.
