MiMi Yoga is a bright and inviting
studio where you can practice free of judgment. We invite everyone to
practice yoga in a way that is organic to them giving you the FREEDOM to
explore your mind body and spirit.
Yoga Fundamentals - Never downward
dogged before? No problem! Our beginner classes well help you to become
stronger and more flexible as our teachers guide you through basic
postures. We want you to love yoga as much as we do and to love it you
need to fully understand it, and we can help get you there.
Yoga Mom (babysitting available) -
With a focus on postnatal recovery. This Vinyasa inspired flow class
will help moms to rebuild their bodies after giving birth. We offer free
babysitting for those who would like to bring their babies.
Postnatal Yoga - Postnatal
Yoga helps moms to rebuild strength and aid in the body's recovery
after birth. Yoga postures, breathing exercises and meditation support
healing, toning and relaxation. Yoga poses for your baby helps with sleep, aids digestion, eases colic, and helps promote muscle development. This class also helps you to bond with your baby while meeting other moms in the community.
Level 1 - Beginner. Never downward dogged before? No problem! Our beginner classes for students with little to no experience will introduce you to linking breath with movement while improving strength and flexibility. With a focus on teaching proper alignment and level one yoga postures you will become more in tune with your mind, body and spirit.
Level 1-2 - For advanced beginner or intermediate yoga practitioner, this class offers more in-depth instruction in the basic postures. We will also introduce more advanced postures with detailed instructions for those who are ready for a personal challenge. In this class, poses can be sustained for longer periods of time or may move more quickly.
Level 2 - Begin to deepen your practice with these classes that combine basic and advanced yoga postures. Explore broader concepts behind yoga and receive detailed instructions for more challenging poses. Prior knowledge of yoga is highly recommended.
Harmony Flow - Explore harmony of the mind, body and spirit. Learn to combine breathing and flowing postures while lengthening and strengthening your muscles. This class is suitable for all levels.
Gentle Yoga - Easeful
stretching combined with breath helps release tension in neck,
shoulders, back and hips; standing and supine postures strengthen
muscles that provide physical support. Every class includes at least one
restorative posture, where you are supported by props and thus can
fully release tension. Those with physical are
provided with modifications. The class is valuable for practitioners of
vigorous yoga, as it is a chance to slow down and be nurtured.
TGIF Yoga - Busy work week? Let our TGIF Yoga help you unwind and get ready for the weekend. A balance between active, grounding poses and restorative settling poses will hit your internal reset button.
